Your Morocco travel adventure begins when you arrive at Marrakech Airport where you are met by your Berber Treasures Morocco tour driver at the scheduled group transfer time and welcomed to UNESCO world heritage Marrakech, the Jewel of the South. Your Morocco tour immerses you in the magic of Marrakech staying at one of the atmosphere Marrakech riads. Overnight in Marrakech riad.

Marrakech

Magical Marrakech beckons. Together with your expert local Marrakech tour guide you explore the sights of this fabulous imperial city on a full-day Marrakech city tour. Your heritage tour of Marrakech takes you through the UNESCO world heritage old walled medina focusing on Marrakech highlights such as La Bahia Palace, Koutoubia Mosque, Ben Youssef Madrasa, the Saadian tombs, Djemaa El-Fna Plaza and Marrakech’s famous souks and markets. Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

This morning your Morocco tour takes you on an excursion into the western section of the soaring High Atlas Mountains. The scenery in this area of the Mountains is spectacular with soaring mountain peaks, tiny Berber villages clinging precariously to steep mountainsides and tumbling mountain streams. Return to Marrakech by mid-afternoon. You have the remainder of the day free to enjoy Marrakech at your leisure. Overnight in Marrakech riad. (Breakfast)

Marrakech – Casablanca – Rabat

This morning your tour of Morocco travels to Casablanca where you are introduced to Casablanca’s principal sights including Hassan II Mosque, La Corniche and Mohammed V Plaza. Continue to your overnight stop, the imperial city of Rabat, the capital of the Kingdom and a UNESCO world heritage site. Delve in Rabat’s ancient heritage visiting Oudaya Kasbah, the Hassan Tower, the Mohammed V Mausoleum and, if time permits, the medieval Necropolis of Chellah, situated in the ruins of the Roman town of Sala Collonia. Overnight in Rabat riad/hotel. (Breakfast)

Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fez

Turning east, your route inland travels to Meknes. Another of Morocco’s imperial cities, you investigate the sights of this UNESCO world heritage 17th century imperial city, including massive the Bab el Manour gate, Henri es-Souani and Agdal Basin. Your tour of Morocco takes you next to the nearby ancient Roman town of Volubilis the site of some of Africa’s best preserved Roman ruins including its world renowned Roman mosaics. Continuing further east you travel to Fez. This impressive unique city is one of the world’s oldest medieval cities. Soak up the local culture staying in a traditional Moroccan riad in Fez ‘s historic old medina. Overnight in Fez riad. (Breakfast)

Fez

Full-day Fez city tour, one of Morocco’s oldest imperial cities, with your expert local Fez travel guide. Your heritage tour of Fez highlights this UNESCO world heritage old walled medina including Madrasa Bou Inania, the Kairaouine Mosque, its famous leather tanneries, bazaars and souks. In Fes el Jdid contrast the golden gates to Dar el Makhzen (Royal Palace) with the equally impressive the enormous Merenid Bab Dekakene gate as you visit the Mellah (Moroccan Jewish heritage quarter). Enjoy panoramic views over Fez from the 16th century Borj Sud fortress. Overnight in Fez riad. (Breakfast)

Fes – Casablanca

You have morning free time to explore Fes at you leisure. Depart Fes and return to Casablanca. Overnight in Casablanca. (Breakfast)
